Made us laugh, maybe you will too...

During the last few days we've had many things make us laugh as usual. Here are some of my favorites...

Me: "kaylee, I will punch you in a second,hold on". (she had put on the focus mitts for boxing.)

Me: "what should we do next." jennifer: "we could do those herpes things glen showed us" (speaking of an exercise actually called 'burpees'.)

Bailey got some mascara from her grandma and her and kaitlyn putit on each other. They started out looking like football players then as we laughed (not at them, but with them of course)they tried with no avail to wipe it off and ended up looking like members of KISS and insisted they keep it like that the rest of the day. ( I really should have gotten a picture.)

The girls and sow friends were drawing on the sidewalk with chalk yesterday and kaylee asked me to help her draw a line. She showed me where and I drew a line. Kaylee says "no, longer to here" and points to the other end of the sidewalk. So I drew a line across and she immediately shouts to all the other kids " haha, nana nana boo ha, you can't come over here it's my side!!"

Oh, there are sooooo many more that I will save them for another day! Hope you laughed!!

In helping Randy study for the board, I learned a few new things (yes this happens occasionaly). Here's one that made me and Randy laugh and make stupid little jokes at for at least half and hour....

According to FM 4-25.11 (the field manual for first aid), one of the 12 signs/symptoms of heat exhaustion is the urge to deficate.... so, if you have to poo, you may already be experiancing a heat injury!

This fail belongs to Toysrus and the USPS

I ordered all of Kaylee's birthday presents online from Toysrus.com because the selection here at the PX is just, well... crappy as can be! And with the Euro being expensive we are boycotting exchanging money over right now so shopping at the Italian toy store (which has a ridiculas amount of toys) is out of the question.
At first Toysrus had really won me over because of their extremely fast shipping. From the time I paid online to the time I had a package slip in my mailbox was 4 days! wow! Then the second package took a bit longer (not sure why because all three small items were in stock when I purchased as well as every day up until they shipped...). All 3 items were packaged in one box together with no packing material.

First, I get the package and see this red stamp, it says "received in damaged condition"

Third dissapoint was to see that there was something actually broke :\ The plastic at the top is all you can see broke in this picture, but the inside pieces that snap together and hold the plastic sides together is also broken off as well as a few pieces at the bottom.
I took this out of the box and put water in there and tried it out, it still functions perfectly and stands up just fine. I just threw away the broken pieces and put it back in the box. I really doubt Kaylee will say anything about it being broke when she gets to pour her own drink :) Plus this little thing was only $10.99 with free shipping, it would probably cost that much just to send it back!

My good take-away from this... at least her Justin Bieber doll is in perfect working order! She is going to FLIP out for that thing!

Busy weeks ahead!

We have some fairly busy weeks coming up! This makes me happy because it means time will pass faster!
This week:

• Sesame Street performs at the post gym for free! We went to this in Colorado last year and the girls loved it.
• Randy goes to the promotion board! This is awesome for him and he completely deserves to get promoted (for you non-military folks this board is simply a step to getting promoted he still has more to do...). Not to mention that Randy was already a SSG (with a date of rank of 2007!) The big Army just didn't think he needed to stay that rank when he came back on Active duty (huge thumbs down to the guys at MEPS and to KY Congressman Geoff Davis whom 'couldn't do anything about'....
• Kaylee goes to the dentist. bahahaha this should be fun. If you know Kaylee then you know how much fun this trip shall be. (though I have been practicing 'dentist' with her and she seems to understand the concept of what is going to happen, and this is not her first experiance, she went in Colorado last year).
• I go to the Italian dentist. YIKES! I had a checkup with the folks on post, unfortunetly that's all they could do for me. They are only able to see Soldiers and their children, spouses take a backseat (appts are allowed IF available, which their not).

Upcoming few weeks:

• Both the girls have appt's to get their physicals so they can play sports
• Randy goes to Germany for 4 days with his softball team (they're really good!).
• Kaitlyn has her dentist appt!
• KAYLEE WILL BE 3!!!
• Kaylee's bday party (which she demands to have at the bowling alley even though she wont bowl more than 2 turns).
• Rosalee's 4 month checkup and shots.
• Soccer practice will start for BOTH the girls. So excited that they both get to play, let's just hope they are not on the same team. I really think that would be bad for them.
• Home visit with Kaitlyn Kindergarten teacher.
• KAITLYN WILL START KINDERGARTEN!!
• Girl Scouts should be having sign-ups soon...

....and there ya go, that takes us into the first week of September.
